Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority Inc, was established at the University of California, Riverside on May of 2001 on the basis of academia achievement with goals of community and political activism. Lambda Theta Alpha’s desire for progress, dedication to its community, and the aspiration for advancement of the Universal Women, has paved the way for many successful events in strengthening women of all creeds since its establishment here at UCR. Although we are traditionally a Latina Sorority, we do not define as so, for many independent, and strong women of all races, ethnicities, and creeds have come into our organization and succeeded as educated women.
Lambda Theta Alpha serves to provide a sisterhood based on unity, love, and respect. Our goal is to provide social and cultural activities and to carry on charitable and educational programs; all while strengthening leadership, maintaining high academic standards, and ultimately serving as a voice for UCR community.
