Who We Are

Nichols Park and the Joyce Jackson Community Center is 1 of 11 community centers ran throughout the City of Riverside. We serve our community through providing various recreational activities, special events, adaptive resources, and other services and programs.

What We Do

The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCSD) provides innovative recreational experiences and social enrichment opportunities and continues to address the changing needs for people of all ages and cultures, in a variety of safe and attractive parks, landscapes and facilities.

	Operating Hours: Monday - Thursday from 3 - 8 p.m.; Friday from 3 - 6 p.m. Program Hours: Little Explorers Inclusive Day Program from 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. After-School Program from 2 - 6 p.m. Open as a Cool Center site when temperatures reach over 97F. (We take calls as early as 9 a.m.)
