County of Riverside Community Action Partnership

CAP Riverside has been Riverside County's official anti-poverty agency since 1979. Its mission: Community Action, with the community, facilitates opportunities toward self-sufficiency through education, wealth building, energy assistance and advocacy. Its promise: Community Action changes peoples' lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community and are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other.

Community Action Partnership (CAP Riverside) provides: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (free tax return preparation), youth mentoring/tutoring and job skills training, asset-building programs (with matched savings, resources, training, computers and opportunity to buy a house, start a business or continue education), conflict resolution training and mediation services, and many other community services.
