Who We Are

Special Olympics Southern California (SOSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The goal of SOSC is to give athletes opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while building friendships and a sense of community. Through sports, SOSC empowers athletes, helping them improve their confidence, health, and life skills. SOSC also advocates for inclusion and acceptance by fostering understanding and connections between individuals with and without intellectual disabilities.
