Who We Are

ABOUT US

We offer youth crucial social connections, guiding them toward positive choices, academic success, and career opportunities. Mentors, in turn, find fulfillment and purpose in giving back. WE BELIEVE We value diverse voices and believe in a program and workplace where all youth, volunteers, stakeholders, and employees regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, sexual orientation or identity, education or disability, should have the opportunity to achieve measurable life success. Our mission is to create and support mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of the next generation. As we are the sum total of all our stakeholders; staff, volunteers, families, board members, and investors, it is imperative to effectively recruit, train, support, and engage all stakeholders in an effort to evolve our programs and drive outcomes that meet the needs of our community. Our culture guides our daily actions and drives toward a lasting and positive impact. We value diversity, respect, collaboration, resilience, innovation and excellence. We believe in a strengths-based leadership approach focused on justice and rooted in a culture of learning. As a mentorship organization dedicated to igniting potential in the youth and young adults we serve, we are also dedicated to unlocking the potential of our staff, stakeholders, and volunteers by leveraging individual strengths to honor who they are and make the largest impact on our communities. We lead with clear purpose and meaning that translates to measurable life success for every child served through our program. We believe that mentorship paves the way for greater access and opportunity for all.

What We Do

COMMUNITY MENTORING

An adult volunteer mentors a child between the ages of 6 and 16, spending one-on-one time together twice a month. Through activities like playing ball, catching up over lunch and going to the park, life-changing friendships are built. Having the friendship and support of a mentor opens a child’s eyes to new possibilities. Becoming a mentor gives you a wonderful chance to have a positive impact on a child’s future. You can help them achieve their full potential and reach heights they never thought possible. Not only is it a rewarding experience, it’s also a lot of fun. Join us in making a significant difference in a young person’s life, creating lasting impacts and unforgettable memories along the way.
