Who We Are

Who We Are Foster Army Animal Rescue is a foster-based nonprofit in Riverside that focuses on saving the pets who are often forgotten — the sick, injured, underage, senior, and special-needs animals who need extra love and medical care. Mission To give vulnerable shelter pets a second chance through rescue, foster care, medical treatment, and adoption. Vision A kinder Riverside where every pet is treated with compassion and every animal has a safe place to heal, grow, and belong. History FAAR began as a small group of foster caregivers determined to help the animals others could not. Over time, it grew into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported by community volunteers, local partners, and a nonprofit thrift store that funds lifesaving medical care. Today, FAAR continues to serve Riverside’s most at-risk pets with heart, dedication, and hope.
