- Provide support and care for survivors/victims at hospitals during forensic exams and interviews
- Inform survivors/victims of their rights and advocate for them during law enforcement interviews
- Accompany survivors/victims or loved ones of the survivor to court hearings or proceedings
- Empower survivors and/or significant others to make informed choices and explore options
- Provide emotional support, make referrals and assist with locating community agencies that can provide additional and/or long-term services; assisting in intervention and recovery
