Members of the Materials Department are tasked with the creation of English educational resources, which encompasses reading and discussion activities.
Every lesson made will equate to 1 hour of volunteer time (Making lessons can take from 40-80 minutes depending on your proficiency in reading articles and creating different questions).
Overall Responsibilities:
- Complete work on a consistent schedule
- Check in with Head of Curriculum Development to discuss about created lessons and updates
- Create lesson plans for the planned lesson (on your own time)
- Read large numbers of online articles and rewrite/paraphrase them into specific reading levels
Qualifications:
- High proficiency in reading and writing English
- Able to work in an organized and efficient manner
- Able to spend time researching/note-taking
